Florida gas prices keep going up. Prices increased an average of 15 cents per gallon last week in the Sunshine State, the second-largest weekly increase among any other state in the country. The Escambia County Sheriff’s Department says a man has been arrested for a fatal stabbing. It happened Friday afternoon in the 1000 block of Trammel Boulevard near Diamond Dairy Road off Highway 29. MID-BAY BRIDGE REPAIRS

Starting tonight the Mid-Bay Bridge in Okaloosa County will be closed for several hours for repairs. In January an inspection found several corroded cables, which will have to be replaced. The Florida Highway Patrol Panama City resident died in a weekend traffic crash.
