The Florida Department of Health says Florida added 15,445 new COVID-19 cases and 139 new deaths over the weekend bringing the  state’s total cases to 1,464,697. The death toll is now at 23,150. PENSACOLA MAYOR ISSUES NEW COVID RESTRICTIONS

Because of the increasing number of COVID-19 cases Pensacola Mayor Grover Robinson has issued new restrictions for events at city-owned venues and parks. 236 Escambia County residents approved for payments from the Escambia CARES Family Assistance Grant program, but did not receive checks because there were not enough funds.
