SPEED LIMIT LOWERED

The Escambia County Commission has lowered the speed limit on a portion of Stefani Road from 40 mph to 35 mph from West 10-Mile Road north to West Roberts Road. The change was made after complaints from residents and subsequent traffic studies. The change creates a consistent speed limit on Stefani Road.MORE

SANTA ROSA COUNTY POLITICAL SIGN ARREST

The man wanted in Santa Rosa County for stealing a political sign has been arrested. 70-year-old John Sanborn, of Milton, was booked into the Santa Rosa County jail on one count of larceny, a Second Degree Misdemeanor. Further details regarding the incident have not yet been released.MORE

AMENDMENT 2 PASSES

Florida residents passed Amendment 2 – barely – which increases the minimum wage of workers up to $15 per hour by 2026. STREET MURAL REMOVED

A “Trump 2020” mural was removed from a Pensacola street yesterday after it was painted overnight. The mural was at 12th Avenue and East Hatton Street and Police discovered it yesterday morning.
