PUBLIX VACINATIONS

Publix will resume scheduling COVID-19 vaccination appointments at its pharmacies in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties today. The program was paused last week because winter storms across the country caused shipping disruptions. Appointments are open to residents 65 and older or those who are frontline health-care workers. ECUA TERM LIMITS BILL REFILED

Florida District 2 State Representative Alex Andrade has filed a new bill to impose term limits for the Emerald Coast Utility Authority board. MASS VACCINATION EVENT FOR VETERANS

SANTA ROSA COUNTY JAIL INMATE FOUND DEAD

The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Department is investigating after an inmate at the Santa Rosa County Jail was found dead in a cell.  Emergency life-saving measures were not successful. The Sheriff’s Office says the case is being investigated as a possible suicide. The identity of the inmate had not yet been released.  MORE
