CORRECTIONAL OFFICE ATTACKED

The Florida Department of Corrections says a correctional officer in Century was recently attacked by an inmate. 32-year-old inmate Danny Tucker – serving a three-year sentence out of Hillsborough County for aggravated assault with a weapon – head-butted an officer at the Century Correctional Institution. WEEKEND SHOOTING INVESTIGATION

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a Friday night shooting that left one man dead and another hospitalized.
