TOM THUMB STORES CLOSE BECAUSE OF COVID-19

The Tom Thumb Company said Monday that they closed their store at Highway 29 and West Roberts Road and on Saufley Field Road after employees tested positive for COVID-19. MISSING ENDANGERED ADULT

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a missing endangered adult who was last seen in Cantonment. 36-year-old Patrick Wilkes, was last seen in the 2000 block of Winners Circle off East Kingsfield Road about 7:30 a.m. Monday. Pensacola Police say a man was arrested after he attacked a male employee at Escapes Gentlemen’s Club on East Fairfield Drive, then  struck a woman in the face. 36-year-old Jacoby Smart was told to stop video-recording a dancer, which led to the fight. PENSACOLA MAYOR ISSUES NEW COVID RESTRICTIONS

Because of the increasing number of COVID-19 cases Pensacola Mayor Grover Robinson has issued new restrictions for events at city-owned venues and parks.
